Perfect afternoon at Sondara

My friend and I had a lovely afternoon at Sondara. It is located on a beautiful property and the tasting room was intimate and inviting. We enjoyed our tasting and all of the wines sampled were delicious. The mini charcuterie plate that they served for paring was a really nice addition. I appreciate the attention to detail and that they partner with small local vendors, making it a truly unique experience. Everyone who took care of us was friendly, passionate about what they do and very hospitable (thanks Natalie, Steve and Sandra!). After our tasting we decided to order an additional glass of wine and snack platter, and the platter served far exceeded our expectations! This place is a true gem and definitely worth a visit.

Steve and the team provided a fantastic and enjoyable wine tasting experience. The pairing of local products with Sondara’s wines, along with commentary about the wines, a personal approach, and relaxing facilities, enhanced the overall experience.

We went on a quiet day and Natalie and Sandra were so lovely and shared so much about their wines, their travels and stories. Absolutely beautiful people and wine! Better than Steve! 🤣

Sondara Estate ... the most gorgeous way to enjoy The Highlands... a fabulous wine tasting paired with a delicious charcuterie board all hosted by a beautiful family. All in a wonderful setting on their farm with their Baby Doll sheep to keep you company and views for miles.

Highly Recommend

We had such a great experience. The wines are delicious & our host warm and welcoming. We loved the pairings with the cheese/salami and of course the beautiful cellar dog was an absolute treat.
