The climate of the Southern Highlands allows for a long ripening period, providing elegant, soft aromatics of ripe red berries and sweet black cherries. A romanticised red wine, soft in colour and tannins. Oak overtones provide secondary aromas producing an ever-delicate Pinot Noir.

Fantastic time and fantastic wine

Such a lovely experience coming for a wine tasting here, it was my second time and just as fantastic. Sandra spent so much time giving us a personalised experience and making it special. She really got to know us and our likes and tried to tailor things to suit us. We loved the wine and went home with 25 bottles total!! Will definitely be back!

Our second visit to Sondara Estate which, once again, didn’t disappoint. This time we ordered the grazing platter and signature platter which we shared with friends. I highly recommend this if you plan to linger a little longer.

We were treated to a great wine tasting experience

We were treated to a great wine tasting experience. We were a family with young children and we were made to feel very welcome. The kids got some colouring in while we tasted some delicious wines with some nice pairings to showcase the wines. Highly recommend.

Amazing cellar door, staff and wine!

Such a beautiful cellar door and great wine. Steve guided us through the wine tasting and we loved every minute. He was very attentive and we enjoyed learning about the history of Sondara and their wines. Highly recommend Sondara!
