We absolutely loved our experience at Sondara—one of the best wine tastings I’ve ever had. It had all the finer touches of a luxury experience while still retaining the warmth and personal charm of a family-run business. Sandra was incredibly welcoming and an exceptional host, with a genuine passion for winemaking that made the experience even more special. The thoughtfully paired cheese and charcuterie were also an excellent touch. Highly recommend—we’ll definitely be back and will continue purchasing their wines regularly.
We loved Sondara. It was the last stop on our wine tour in August. The staff were super friendly and inviting. We loved the wine and the little pairing of snacks that came with it. Our only complaint was that it was very cold while we did our tasting. We were given blankets though.

We love coming here and bringing new wine lovers with us, as it is such an immersive and educational experience with lots of fun as well. The wines are exquisite and with the pairings, just an amazing taste sensation. Every time we visit there is something new to enjoy. We cannot wait for our next visit. Sandra is an amazing and passionate advocate for her vineyard and local area.
I have been to a few wineries across Australia, this was one of the best experiences so far. Not too many options but it was great nonetheless.
Very nice atmosphere. Great staff and enjoyed the wines. Really liked that you give us a little bite of food to go with the wines. I am not a Sav Blanc drinker but really liked yours. We also ordered the food platter and another bottle of wine for after, and that was also very good and a great way to spend a couple of hours.
Our first visit was a friends birthday celebration!
Everything was exceptional the whole experience.

It was a really lovely experience - very charming. A small tour of the vines, refined pairing of food samples with delicious wines in beautiful glasses and a lovely comfortable space. Definitely make this a part of your Highlands experience.
This venue is simply gorgeous with a very relaxed vibe, staff are friendly and knowledgeable, owner is divine, wine is superb - seriously the best.
We had a lovely time wine tasting at the vineyard. Our host was lovely and funny. The wines were nice. The atmosphere was great. A very enjoyable afternoon. I’d highly recommend.
